The School of International Education at Wuhan Institute of Technology and Business offers Chinese language courses for international students, focusing on developing their Chinese language foundation and communication skills. The Chinese courses are divided into two levels: beginner and intermediate, with teaching methods and content adjusted according to the Chinese language proficiency of the students.

I. Program Introduction

1. The academic system is divided into one semester and one academic year, with full-time study methods.

2. Classes are held 16–20 hours per week.

3. International students who complete all the courses and achieve passing grades will receive a certificate of completion.

II. Course Settings

The School of International Education provides a rich array of language courses and cultural experience activities for international students, including: Chinese speaking, Chinese listening, Chinese reading, comprehensive Chinese, an overview of China, Chinese culture, HSK level 4-6 tutoring, and cultural research experiences.

Ⅲ.Application Qualifications

1. Foreign nationals with a high school diploma or higher education, aged 18–30.

2. Physically and mentally healthy, of good conduct, consciously abide by Chinese laws and regulations, school rules and regulations, and have no criminal record.

IV. Related Costs (All costs are in RMB)

1. Tuition: 6,000 yuan/person/semester,12,000yuan/person/academic year.

2.Accommodation:

Double room: 6,000 yuan per academic year;

four-person room: 3,000 yuan per academic year.

Note: Specific arrangements are subject to the enrollment situation.

3. International Student Medical Insurance: 800 yuan/academic year.

4. Application fee: 500 yuan/person.

V. Application Materials

1. A completed "Wuhan Institute of Technology and Business International Student Admission Application Form".

2. A color scan of the passport's main page (if the applicant is currently in China, all relevant visa pages must also be scanned).

3. A color scan of the highest degree certificate and academic transcript (in Chinese/English).

4. A color scan of the "Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" and related original reports (in Chinese/English), stamped by the hospital, with a validity period of 6 months.

5. An official criminal record certificate or a certificate of no disciplinary violations during school.

6. A financial guarantee certificate.

7. A self-statement and study plan in Chinese or English (no less than 600 words in Chinese, no less than 1000 words in English).

8. A one-inch electronic photo.

VI. Application Deadlines

VII.Admission Process

1.Applicants submit application materials.

2.Review of Application Materials:Once the application materials pass the preliminary review, the School of International Education will conduct the interview.

3.After the interview, upon approval by the higher authorities, the university will send the "Admission Letter" and the "Application Form for Visa for Foreign Students to Study in China" (JW202 Form).

Ⅷ.Enrollment Registration

International students must bring the relevant materials to the School of International Education to complete the registration procedures on the designated date.
